I’m a nursing informatics specialist, registered nurse, and doctoral student with nearly a decade of experience at the intersection of clinical care, health IT, and workflow design. My work focuses on helping healthcare teams prepare for technology disruption, evaluate emerging tools, and design informatics strategies that make sense for frontline clinicians.
My background is clinical before it is technical: CVICU, ambulatory care, and years spent watching nurses adapt to systems that are not always built with them in mind. That perspective shapes everything I do.

EHR Downtime Preparedness
Most health systems have a downtime policy. Far fewer have a plan that holds up when the pressure is real — when nurses are reverting to paper, workflows are breaking down, and the people who need information most cannot access it. We help hospitals close that gap through downtime-readiness assessments, human factors review of analog workflows, backup-access planning, continuity workflow review, and facilitated tabletop exercises.
